Shore of Dreams (Another World) - Chrono Cross (solo piano cover, v.2)

Hey guys! I know it's been a minute since my last upload, and I apologize, this past month has been a challenging one, lot of home repairs hit us out of nowhere and more recently, dealing with some heavy personal losses. I'd been working on an updated version of this which I will always think of as Dream of the Shore Bordering Another World despite the new localized title, and even though I wasn't in the headspace to record it yet, it also made me feel more normal in the midst of all the turmoil to record and upload something new yet nostalgic and dear to me, so here it is.

This is one of my favorite tracks from Chrono Cross and I recorded it ten years ago (   • Chrono Cross - Dream of the Shore Near Ano...  ), based on a defunct arrangement by Joseph Rozell, which I since reworked to correct errors and wrote a new ending inspired by the interesting chord changes in moonbowmusicmovie's cover (   • On the Beach of Dreams (Another World) - C...  ), and also incorporated a bit of Home Guldove just because. The last few measures I had planned differently but felt differently on the spur of the moment, maybe just ruminating on the fragility of life, the impermanence of it all. Which is also in keeping with the vibe of the game, I guess.

Anyways, relieved to finally get this one out and lowkey picking at more Chrono stuff, though my biggest projects coming down the pipeline in the next month are 1) Castlevania, as per my annual October tradition, but finally bundling them all into an album, and 2) Yakuza Piano Collections are finally complete, the original plan was to drop on the debut of the Amazon prime show but it's taking up an inordinate amount of space on my hard drive so I might just get it out of the way sooner so my laptop can have some breathing room lol so I'll be dribbling out a few more previews and some of the standalone tracks before dumping it all.
