A close call shortly after take off - Around 50ft in altitude before the engine begins to fail sporadically. The cause was a small condenser which had broken away from its bracket and was bouncing on the engine, when in contact with the engine it earthed and I had power otherwise it lost power. The bigger flying issue is the dilemma -- engine failure or intermittent engine failure, which is worse? Personally Intermittent seems far worse as you have to make loads of decisions, if I had to do it again I would have gone straight into the field at 1min 4 secs. I was just lucky it kept going.
