These are blades ,knife & machete modeled after war implement of the past from what I take and both are very nicely done and very reasonably priced the Black Bear appears to be a excellent copy of the original Raider Bowie as it was a Machete and not a knife ,it was for chopping through heavy jungle brush and if need be a weapon and I'm sure it came in very handy for that purpose as well. the newer models and replicas are built and constructed as large knives ,although the very true original V44 Raiders were machetes /weapons. and the Cold Steel is a good copy in a machete, IMHO, Peace and enjoy and get one if you have not already 👊WWll Blade 1934 to 1943 Approximately 50,000 knive were pruduced from that time making the Original Blades highly collectable.
