American Couple Reacts: German Supermarkets Shocked Us! FIRST TIME REACTION!

Germany, we’re back and this time, we’re diving headfirst into your supermarkets (and barely surviving).

This was our very first look inside German grocery stores, and to say we were shocked is an understatement. From eggs that look like candy to milk just chillin’ on a shelf like it pays rent, nothing made sense to our American brains. But the real kicker? The checkout line. It’s fast, it’s intense, and we’re convinced it might actually be a contact sport.

We don’t know if we’d survive shopping in Germany, but damn it we want to try. We really do love German food, and if that checkout lane chaos is the price of admission, we’ll start training now. Danke fürs Zuschauen!!
