Maryland Women's Lacrosse Highlights | Johns Hopkins

COLLEGE PARK, MD – No. 7 Maryland women's lacrosse defeated No. 8 Johns Hopkins, 13-11, in its regular season finale at Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex on Saturday. This was Maryland's 800th program win, the most by any women's college lacrosse program. The Terps improved to 12-4 overall and 7-1 in Big Ten play, winning five of their last six games. It was the team's fourth win over a ranked team this season.

Maryland also clinched the No. 2 seed in the Big Ten Tournament and earned a first-round bye. With the Terps hosting the tournament at the Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex, they will play in the semifinals on Friday, April 25. The game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.

After an early deficit, Maryland's offense powered past Johns Hopkins with a 7-1 scoring run that spanned the first and second quarters. The Terps (11-5, 5-3 Big Ten) outshot the Blue Jays 32-26 on their way to a double-digit goal tally.
