Very muddy Carrera is dismantled and receives a clean up before reassembly. Doing this taught me it takes five times longer to restore a bike when you also film it for YouTube. Will I do it again? Not sure, but I do have a couple of other old bikes awaiting refurb...
Just a few parts had to be replaced - the grips and tyres which were worn out, the chain (I had a used one lying around with less stretch) and a seized front derailleur.
