Today's topic: The summary of William Shakespeare's Othello, Act One! The poet and playwright William Shakespeare has had a big influence on the teaching of drama and English literature, as well as the English language, for hundreds of years. Many words and expressions that he invented are still in use today, although we often don't realize it.
