It is time for our next episode of Back from the Brink and this time around we were privileged to be invited out to the stunning marine environment of Moreton Bay to work with Johan Gustafson from Griffith University to learn about the plight of the Scalloped Hammerhead Shark.
The 'Back from the Brink' series is the first of its kind to exhibit a series of short stories about South East Queensland's most threatened plants and animals, what is happening to them, and how we can save them from extinction.
Throughout 2018 we will showcase a plethora of amazing creatures from hammerhead sharks to giant orchids, as well as the incredible people dedicating their lives to saving them.
We all know about extinction, but it's not just happening to elephants and tigers. We are losing species quite literally from our very own backyards. Be a part of the change and learn what you can do to help!
