On 28 December 2025, the M27 at Junction 10 was fully closed for major upgrade works — and today’s drone footage captures the scale of the transformation from above. This video provides a detailed aerial look at the construction progress, new road alignments, earthworks, slip road changes, and the wider redevelopment shaping the western edge of Fareham, Welborne, and the Solent corridor.
This closure is part of the long‑planned M27 Junction 10 Improvement Scheme, designed to unlock access to the new Welborne Garden Village, improve traffic flow between the A32, A27, and M27, and future‑proof the strategic route between Southampton, Portsmouth, and the wider South Coast.
