Welcome to Day 5 of my Sierra Nevada Motorcycle Adventure!
Today’s ride is nothing short of epic — over 270 miles from Ahwahnee through Fresno and into the heart of California’s giant wilderness: Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks.

From the mist of Grizzly Falls and the thunder of Roaring River Falls, to the silent awe of the General Sherman Tree and the legendary Tunnel Log, this day captures everything I love about motorcycle travel — freedom, solitude, and connection with nature.

The BMW R1300 GS once again proves to be the perfect adventure companion — smooth, powerful, and absolutely unshakable through switchbacks, canyon climbs, and forest descents.

As I roll into Visalia at sunset, this marks the end of my Sierra Nevada Series — but not the end of the journey.

Next up: 8 days across Utah’s Big 5 National Parks — Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Arches, and Canyonlands.

It’s going to be legendary.
