Understanding, managing and treating geogenic fluoride for small water systems. We look at geologic and geochemical conditions that can result in high fluoride concentrations in groundwater. We look at a variety of treatment options, including well modification to seal off high-F zones, blending options and treatment plant options, including reverse osmosis and activated alumina. We also look at two case studies of high-fluoride in groundwater and the solutions implemented in those cases.
