Touhou: Phantasmagoria Dream (LLS Remake) | Lunatic No-Bomb 1cc, Marisa 【东方幽幻梦】

An LNB clear of the Lotus Land Story remake made by NooblyPerson, the same guy who made Demon World of Magic and Death Angel's Dream. PD (not to be confused with Phantasm Dream) is basically the only game by Noobly that's “reasonable” on Lunatic, so I figured going for an LNB would be fun (it was not fun).

This run was tough to pull off. There are so many “you will die here” sections that you might as well assume you only have four or five mistakes to work with. The game loves throwing enemies that fire tons of revenge bullets alongside enemies that keep shooting from off-screen behind you, so you really have to stay on your toes if you want to win.

This is probably my least favorite game from NooblyPerson... maybe? I'm unsure. DWoM and DAD are completely unhinged, but at least they’re extremely funny, fun to mess around with, and also kinda epic in DAD's case. PD feels pretty underwhelming in comparison, and the fact that it’s closer to being a more serious game also throws off my judgment. The biggest sin here is having to listen to JynX’s awful PC-98 arrangements again, which was something DWoM also suffered from. Still an alright game though.

i forgot to show it off but reimu and sakuya are also playable characters and yes sakuya fights reimu instead of marisa
