New Order's Age of Consent is a song I've been playing since the very first day I got my first guitar/bass. I played bass for a year before I took up guitar purely because I wanted to be just like Peter Hook. His bass lines were like a jolt of power to my brain from the very first time I heard them and they still have that effect. I love this one especially (even if I've played rhythm guitar here instead of bass) and wanted to upload this in memory of my old band Sam Smith & Company as we used to cover this song most nights. Its been 10 years since that band broke up and it was nice to revisit Age of Consent today.
