Quarantined Boris Johnson joins millions apploauding COVID-19 NHS frontline staff for second time

The Prime Minister took to his doorstep from coronavirus quarantine at 11 Downing Street as he joined millions of people across UK clapping, cheering and setting off fireworks to applaud the NHS and key workers treating those with COVID-19 for the second week in a row.

Brits loudly applauded their NHS heroes this evening for putting their lives on the line to fight COVID-19. And those working in supermarkets, cleaners and refuse collectors who keep the public fed and safe in the UK amid the pandemic lockdown.

Millions of people came to their front doors and onto balconies to proudly clap for those on the frontline - as the quarantined Prime Minister joined the salute.
