Glassblower Chris Day exhibited in Harewood’s All Saints’ Church as part of Harewood’s Craft Spotlight series.
Chris Day creates glass works that open conversations around Black history including the Transatlantic Trade in Enslaved People, and brought Harewood’s own history into that dialogue through a work he made for the exhibition.
The series platforms emerging makers, particularly in view of the significant under-representation of makers from the global majority in the craft sector.
