Greenock Model Railway Show 2023 – Part 3

The show was held at the Lyle Kirk in West Greenock and hosted many excellent layouts new to this channel. A map and layout guide was provided free which was handy as some layouts were to be found in side rooms. The beautiful interior of the Church made an impressive setting for a model railway show and it fully lived up to its title of “The Friendly Show”.

Normally we like to travel to exhibitions by train but due to Storm Babet ScotRail cancelled all trains north of the central belt so driving was required. Conditions were heavy rain on the way to the show but sunshine returning home!

The exhibition was organised by the Greenock Model Railway Club.
For layouts we have featured in earlier videos we try to concentrate on new features and/or different rolling stock if possible.

This video comprises three parts and we visited Greenock on 21st October 2023.
