🕒 When are you most at risk?
👉 The first 6–10 weeks post-surgery
👉 Your muscles are still regaining strength
👉 Balance may feel off — that’s why support tools like a cane or stick are essential
💥 If You Do Fall:
🤕 Minor bruising? Rest + ice may help
⚠️ Fell on the operated side? Watch for:
🔸 Swelling
🔸 Deep pain
🔸 Trouble walking or doing daily tasks
💡 DO NOT IGNORE
📞 Call your doctor
🩻 Get an X-ray to rule out serious damage
🛑 How to Prevent Falls:
✔️ Don’t ditch the cane/stick too soon
✔️ Remove loose carpets or wires
✔️ Wear anti-slip slippers
✔️ Leave bathroom doors unlocked
✔️ Regular physiotherapy to build strength
✔️ Ask your doctor/physio before changing routines
🌿 Healing doesn’t mean rushing — it means moving safely.
Take the right steps now to stay on your feet tomorrow 🦶💪
