In this video, I’ll show you how to turn Excel into a powerful tool for building internal apps without writing a single line of VBA or installing any paid plugins. Think bulk email senders, automated invoices, and even live survey forms, all created inside a regular Excel file. It’s a bit like realizing your kitchen blender can also vacuum the floor. Unexpected, but strangely effective.
We’ll start by walking through a few demo applications to see what’s possible. Then I’ll show you how everything works behind the scenes using a free Excel add-in called xlwings Lite. You don’t need Python installed, and you definitely don’t need to be a coder. I’ll also walk you through how to send data from Excel to no-code platforms like Pabbly, so your spreadsheet can start handling real automation tasks, like sending emails or generating invoices, all on its own.
