All of these videos were individually filmed in the Westfield Galleria Mall in Roseville, CA off Galleria Blvd and Roseville Parkway.
I also had to delete the original as it really didn’t meet my expectations in terms of the quality, so I went back and fixed so it’ll run at normal 60 FPS for a smoother video. Hence why it took a while to upload this very video.
This is perhaps the first restroom spree I ever had done on my channel, and is the first extravaganza in 2 years since I last done one. This is belated 5th anniversary special by the way. Below is the description of each restroom filmed.
JcPenny Wing Men’s Restroom:
Filmed in the JcPenny Wing, this restroom is perhaps one of the bestest examples of a preserved restroom even spared during the late 2000s renovation projects and so on and so forth. This is the ONLY restroom that has Eljer and Proflo fixtures mixed in with a relatively newer Kohler Kingston. This restroom is the only good one with the Eljers. Originally there was a Family Lounge next door, which is currently undergoing renovation which means that these fixtures have their days numbered. Overall, this restroom is good.
Macy’s [North] Wing Men’s Restroom:
This is one of the strangest restroom setups I’ve seen in a mall, this restroom is situated just under a pair of escalators just outside the Macy’s. This restroom has undergone renovation and originally had Eljer or American Standard fixtures, everything in this one had Toto fixtures. However this restroom is perhaps one of the fanciest in the mall overall, despite its relatively small size. This wing was rebuilt in 2012 after being set on fire in an arson case.
JcPenny Unisex Restroom (Upper Floor)
This restroom had been occupied before when I last filmed there during the heydays of my channel. This is one of my childhood restrooms that I hadn’t gotten to see in years. There wasn’t anything special, but this was a nice revisit of one of my childhood restrooms.
Nordstrom (Both men’s and unisex restrooms)
This is the first time I’ve filmed a restroom at any Nordstrom location and was a first hands on experience with it. The signs on the walls looked really cool and also upper class looking, however there wasn’t their generic door signs they have. The family restroom was quite large for a Nordstrom and was a surprise for a Nordstrom to have one. However the fixtures that I saw were absolute garbage, with the exception of the hand dryers. Overall, this restroom is terrible.
Macy’s Men’s Restroom:
Once again attempting to film the Macy’s restroom was a partial failure, because people were coming in despite the store being quite not busy at the time, however this time around I was able to film all the freshmen and one of the Highcrests. The Highcrest in question is perhaps one of the loudest ones I’ve heard ever, with its pressure ticked up to a ridiculous degree that it made a huge sound. Overall, the restroom is decent.
JcPenny Men’s Restroom:
A revisit to the heydays of my channel, there were some minor changes to the restroom, with the replacement of one of the Allbrooks with a Proflo urinal, and one of the Madera’s pressure ticked down to a weak margin. The restroom looked very old styled for a modern JcPenny, which I personally admired. This restroom is not great in terms of the fixtures, but the feeling of the antique felt nice.
JcPenny Unisex Restroom (Downstairs)
Surprisingly this JcPenny had two restrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs closest to the checkouts. This was just another unisex bathroom they had in the store next to the optical, and there was only one downstairs. This was practically the same setup as the previous unisex restroom filmed. But it was slightly a little bigger. Overall, the restroom is not great.
Food Court (Men’s, Unisex, and Family Restroom)
Located upstairs, this is perhaps the largest restroom filmed to date, however it does fail to surpass the disappointment I saw at Safe Credit Union’s convention center in Downtown, what made this special was the addition of a unisex bathroom in the men’s restroom, with the restroom itself being extremely large. Some of the flushometers however were replaced over the years, which made this a small update. And this time I was able to film all the toilets. That goes for the same thing as the Family Lounge. I was this time successful of filming both restrooms, which still had the Primary’s and Kingstons. One of the Kingstons failed to flush with the manual push button, and the other one was partially clogged with TP. Overall, all three of these restrooms were quite okay in design, but the fixtures are not great.
Enjoy the spree!
