Very Rusty Pickaxe Restoration. I found this rusty pickaxe with a metal detector in a WW1 military camp. This is an Austro-Hungarian military pickaxe - Beilpicke M 1896. The soldier lost the pickaxe during the First World War. I decided to restore the rusty pickaxe. I removed the rust, sharpened the ax and made a new handle. I hope you enjoyed my restoration video.
