The Perfect Rowing Stroke Checklist
- This is your one-stop shop for the perfect rowing stroke. Here are the 7 key points to remember.

Healthy Diet for Rowers
Complement your indoor rowing exercises with proper healthy diet.
Pre-Exercises Meals.
Here are suggested food combos that you can eat 2 to 4 hours before you exercise on the rowing machine.

Chicken, cheese, or egg sandwich with salad
•
Jacket potato with cheese, tuna, chicken, coleslaw or baked beans
• Pasta with tomato sauce and cheese paired with veggies
•
Chicken with rice and salad
•
Mixed bean hot pot with potatoes
•
Porridge made with milk
•
Wholegrain cereal (bran flakes or muesli are ideal) with milk or yogurt.
Snacks for Rowers
Eating a low Glycemic Index or GI meal 1 to 2 hours before rowing can also be benefit your exercise performance. These pre-workout snacks can produce a sustained source of carbs throughout your exercise and recovery.
• Fresh fruits
• Yogurt
• Milk shake
• Fruit loaf
• Fruit juice
