Teagasc Sustainability Advisor James Mimnagh caught up with Dairy farmer Andrew McHugh, Longford, to ask him how AgNav has benefitted his farm.
AgNav is a free, voluntary digital sustainability platform for Irish farmers and advisors, developed by Teagasc, Bord Bia and ICBF. It uses verified farm data to:
*Show your farm’s emissions (“Know My Number”) for GHG and ammonia
*Forecast impacts of actions with a decision-support “Forecaster”
*Build a farm-specific action plan (“Make My Plan”)
*Produce an AgNav Sustainability Report
