Pedro Pichardo of Portugal becomes men’s triple jump Olympic champion with new national record. He won the Olympic triple jump title with abest leap of 17.98m, a national record. The 28-year-old set his best mark in round three at the Olympic Stadium. ZHU Yaming of People’s Republic of China took silver with a personal best jump of 17.57m, while Burkino Faso's Hugues Fabrice Zango secured the bronze with 17.47m - his country's first Olympic medal.
The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Summer Games took place in Japan, from July 23, 2021 to August 8, 2021.
