1,600 Acres Waiting… and We’re Not Ready

Farming never slows down! Today I had to dig into the cellar and clean out rotten potatoes that left a nasty mess on the floor. If we don’t stay on top of it, the damage can cost us thousands, so it was a full-on cleanup job to keep things running smooth for the next crop. After that, I switched gears and started getting ready for our upcoming wheat harvest. The Fendt IDEAL 9 combine is coming out of the shed, pivots are turning, and I’m making sure everything is dialed in before we hit the fields. With 1,600 acres of wheat waiting, there’s a lot on the line, and preparation is key to keeping the machines rolling without breakdowns.
