2015 Anglesey Circuit Plop Enduro

On the 11 April, The Bike Insurer and more than 60 other teams descended on Anglesey Circuit for the first PLOP Enduro of 2015.

The eight-hour endurance race on Honda C90s began just before 10am on a sunny but blustery day at the Rhosneigr track.

Team Bike Insurer felt confident at the start of the day but that swagger soon disappeared as The Bike Insurer Cub spluttered to a standstill after less than two-hours on track.

After a prolonged period in the garage, it was back out on track again until the exhaust fell off after a bit of a 'rider error'.

More tinkering in the garage followed before number 41 was sent back out only to misfire and trundle out of life and on to the grass at the far end of the course.

A disappointing and despondent walk back to the pitlane followed before yet more garage time.

After around three-hours in the garage, the biggest surprise was that The Bike Insurer bike actually finished the race on the track and in motion, if in third-to-last position.

Despite the disappointment it was another brilliant instalment of the Plop Enduro (organised by S&D Armada) at Anglesey and one that has whet the whistle for the next event later in the year.
