God Comforts a Korean Immigrant Church in Rural America!

Arkansas Loving Church is a Korean immigrant church located in the small city of Little Rock, Arkansas, USA.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, members moving to large cities, and internal difficulties, the number of adults attending Sunday worship had dropped to 13 by December 2023.

In January 2024, in response to God's message, “Go and comfort them,” Pastor Dongjin Park was appointed to our church as his first pastoral calling just three months after his ordination.

Since then, through the work of the Holy Spirit, the wounded hearts of the members have been healed, and those who had been scattered have returned. We have gained new strength and become a church that reaches out to the lonely and marginalized, builds up the body of Christ, and shares God's love with those around us.

Though our church is still very small and weak, we live our challenging immigrant lives with gratitude because of God.

알칸사 사랑의 교회는 미국의 알칸사주 리틀락이라는 작은 도시에 위치한 한인 이민교회 입니다.

코로나 팬데믹, 교인들 대도시로 이주, 내부 어려움 등으로 2023년 12월 주일예배 성인 참석인수가 13명까지 내려갔었습니다.

2024년 1월, “가서 저들을 위로하라”는 하나님의 메시지를 받고, 박동진 목사님께서 목사 안수후 3개월만에, 첫 목회지로 저희 교회에 부임해 오셨습니다.

그 후, 성령의 역사하심으로, 상처받았던 교인들의 마음이 치유되었고, 뿔뿔이 흩어졌던 교인들이 돌아왔습니다. 우리는 새 힘을 얻어, 외롭고 소외된 사람들에게 전도하며, 교회를 세우며, 주위에 하나님의 사랑을 전하는 교회가 되어가고 있습니다.

우리 교회는 여전히 아주 작고 연약하지만, 하나님으로 인해 힘든 이민의 삶을 감사함으로 살아갑니다.
