The Lord of the Rings: Duel for Middle-Earth — Quick Review

30 minutes, to draft a story for the entire trilogy! In this review we go into this euro-styled card game, as slightly asymmetric players vie for control of middle earth while also keeping track of the fellowship. There’s some variable setup that will dictate which of the 3 victory conditions (for possible sudden death ending) you want to more actively pursue, and movement to attack for regions on the board. Instead of the 7 wonders duel tug of war, now you do some area control of regions like Gondor and Mordor. Cards are layered onto each other with tags to help you progress through the 3 ages and you can get income too!
