PART 2 | Unfortunately for investigators, the charred remains reveal little. Working with what they do have, investigators clear the local air traffic controller and rule out mechanical failure.

Poor communication inside the cockpit meant that the plane continued to descend - even after air traffic controllers told it to hold. When the crew finally realised their mistake, it was too late to correct. Among their other findings, the investigators are also critical of the outdated radar used at the Delhi airport.
