A federal judge has found probable cause to hold the Trump administration in criminal contempt for violating the court order to not deport people to El Salvador, saying that they willfully ignored it. The Administration has until April 23rd to come into compliance with the court order which he says they can do by bringing the men back they deported so they can receive due process. And if they don’t he will identify the specific people who violated the court order and have them jailed and prosecuted. He also added that if the DOJ refuses to prosecute the criminal contempt of court, then he will appoint a prosecutor who will. Here is what he wrote: "The Constitution does not tolerate willful disobedience of judicial orders — especially by officials of a coordinate branch who have sworn an oath to uphold it. To permit such officials to freely 'annul the judgments of the courts of the United States' would not just 'destroy the rights acquired under those judgments'; it would make 'a solemn mockery' of 'the constitution itself.' It’s unclear how Trump and the White House will respond, they’re currently also on the verge of being held in contempt of court for ignoring the Supreme Court ruling that said they needed to bring Kilmar Abrego Garcia back to America.
