Florida Coast to Coast Jeep Drive Gone Wrong | Beach Recovery, Hidden Gems, and a Sunset to Remember

It’s that time of year again—our annual Florida Coast to Coast Jeep Drive! In this video, I take you along for one of my favorite (and most unpredictable) day trips: we start with a picture-perfect sunrise in St. Augustine, make some wild and wonderful stops across the state, and wrap it all up with sunset at Clearwater Beach. Sounds magical, right? Well... let’s just say not everything went as planned.
➡️ This year marked the first time I ever got stuck—yep, my four-wheel drive failed me right in the middle of the sugar sand. With no recovery gear packed (rookie move!), we had to get creative fast. But it wouldn’t be a real OverNoobin adventure without a little chaos and a lot of laughter. After the recovery, we rolled on to explore Florida's hidden gems like the historic Old Brick Road, make a pit stop at the Jeep Outpost in Leesburg, and finally—finally—visit the legendary Whimsy Land, a quirky roadside oddity I’ve wanted to see for five years.

From beach struggles to brick roads, bowling balls to sunsets, this trip had it all—and then some. By the time we reached Clearwater and dipped our toes in the Gulf, it felt like the perfect ending to a not-so-perfect (but totally unforgettable) Florida day.
