Valentine Day to most people is a meaning of showing love to another individual or partner in your life through gifts, romantic dates, and etc. To most people this would be considered one of the most important holidays to celebrate once a year but this is false! You may think Valentine's Day started in the roots of Christianity through a priest name Saint Valentine in the third century A.D. , but sadly this is false as well. Valentine origins came from a pagan holiday called Lupercalia. This pagan holiday was held in honor of their gods Faunus and Lupercus, the gods of agriculture and fertility. It also honoured the mythological founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus. #God #knowthetruth #paganholidays #valentinesday #lupercalia #God
