The Angles Way is a waymarked long distance trail linking the Norfolk towns of Great Yarmouth and Thetford; a walk from the Broads to the Brecks. At 92 miles long, it takes anywhere from 5 to 8 days to complete and I have broken the walk down over 8 manageable sections.
Part 3 heads west out of Oulton Broad close to the River Waveney. It passes through the stunning nature reserve of Carlton Marshes which is rich in rare wildlife. At the edge of the reserve the River Waveney is joined and followed for several miles into the Suffolk town of Beccles.
Distance: 16.8km
Ascent: 12m
Duration: 5 Hours 13 Minutes
