"Stinkfist" from Tool's "Ænima" album (1996).
Where do I begin... Like I said in the comment, I didn't like my old Stinkfist video. The tone was off and out of tune (not A=442), the tab was wrong and the tab featured that stupid 5th string line. What changed? I'll show you. Oh I'd like to point out that after all these years of transcribing, my hearing got even better so I feel quite certain about these changes. Here we go:
-The tuning of this song is not standard drop D, it's A=442 which is why you will sound a little bit out of tune when you play along.
-Bar 14 at 0:42 has a slide to the 5th fret. This happens again in the next verse.
-Bar 16 has a similar slide, but with some extra notes before the slide.
-The choruses have chords in them! Yes, it's that classic Chancellor double 10th fret chord and it works well for this song. Also, he switches up the 12-0-12 with 0-12-0 during the chorus so watch out.
-You were right, the bridge part at 2:41 (bar 53) starts with 0-2-0-3-5 and not 0-2-0-2-3, that was a big mistake in my video.
-Another big change happens at 3:36 (bar 73). I suddenly started hearing open A notes and it didn't make sense to me. I played it on the other string and it made sense.
-I overcharted the 4/4 bar at 3:53. Justin plays those dotted notes, rather than 6 notes per fret.
-At 4:07 (bar 83), I heard more chords on the 7th fret. Also, he played some subtle extra 4th fret notes there at the end, not just one.
Some important information that nobody is going to read.
