As weird as it sounds, Nicolas Cage was actually considered to play Aragorn before Viggo was cast.
What would the LOTR Films have looked like if Nicolas Cage WAS cast? Well, I set out to find the answer to this question by any means necessary. Which, in this case, meant staring at Nicolas Cage for an unhealthy amount of time as I edited, rotoscoped, and color graded Nic and placed him (as Aragorn) in scenes from Tolkien's unparalleled world of Middle Earth.
