In this video I show off something you have never seen before… My Legs

In all seriousness this is my first vlog ever ! It feels really weird to say that .

Making my YouTube videos these past few months has been so much fun but I was just doing them at my desk . Making this vlog felt like a step up in almost every way . I had to be more creative , I had to get over my embarrassment , and I actually had to figure out how to shoot it .

I don’t have a fancy camera so I ended up just using my phone . Surprisingly it looked a lot better than I thought it was going to . There was one problem though . People online said that if you vlog with your phone you should use the back camera . The issue is that when you do that you can’t see yourself . It took me a bit to get used to it but I found it to actually be better because I wasn’t constantly worried about how I looked .

The other important part of the process was the audio . It is often overlooked but it was honestly my biggest concern . I didn’t have a microphone so I just used the one on my headphones . I was worried about how they were going to look but I don’t think they look out of place and they sound pretty good .
By far the hardest part of making this video was recording myself . I thought I got the hang of it from making my other videos but I was so wrong . Nothing could have prepared me for recording in public like this . I can’t tell you how hard my heart was pumping and how embarrassing it was when someone was near me . It took me a long time to get even somewhat comfortable doing it . Even though it was hard I am glad I did it because it pushed me into an uncomfortable spot and forced me to hurdle it .

Also it allowed me to get to the best part . The editing ! This video was easily the most fun to edit . The other videos I have been making have been pretty straightforward to edit but in this one there were so many different choices I could make . It made the finished product much more fulfilling.

I also challenged myself . Specifically with that shot of me waling in and out of the frame . It may seem simple and maybe it is but I had such a hard time creating that effect 😭 It is still not perfect but I am proud of how it turned out .

Anyways I don’t want to keep on rambling on .
