Why not just sit back and watch these comings and goings?
Turn the volume up a bit and listen to the blue tit chicks in the box chirping for their breakfast, somewhere nearby there’s a blackbird getting in on the singing act.
Yes, it does say; “NO JOIST” on the side of the box. When we moved in to this house some 20 years ago the box was already in situ but badly in need of repair, as were some of the floor boards in the house. I repaired the box with bits of surplus floorboard.
