I'm starting off with the Kerrs, a powerful and competent family of the Scottish Middle March that fought long and bitter feuds with the Scotts, among others. I visit their strongholds of Cessford Castle and Ferniehirst Castle, exploring the sieges, feuds, deals, raids, and battles that shaped this great border family.
