Californian logging industry. United States of America.
Logging in forest of California; USA. GV logs coming down hill on primitive' chute' made of other logs; a rope is connected to log on top; and that log is pulled; which pushes other logs in front. GV logging camp with a shack-type building. ECU machine saw cutting through log; moving really fast -- the log is held in position. Then ECU side view of shorter section of log rolling away. some men go over to it -- it is about a yard across.
GV two workers using physics - ropes and crane -- to move the huge log section onto pile. Transportation of the logs. Train carrying lots of logs on many flatbed cars winds through the forest of tall pines; toward side of camera -- very cool looking shot; a worker stands on top of logs on one car; balancing; trying to keep his balance as he walks forward;waving some stick or something in his hand.
