In this lesson learners practise their tree climbing and aerial rescue skills. This will lead to an in-course assessment and certificate of competence. Some will simulate an accident where they get stuck in the canopy of the tree. As a result of this, their colleagues will perform an aerial rescue. Meanwhile, on the ground, learners practise throwing ropes into the trees and tying knots.
