The 373cc, liquid-cooled motor on the new Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z will now make 42.4bhp instead of 39.5bhp on the older model. The power output is similar to the second-generation KTM 390 Duke, which also indicates that the new Pulsar NS400Z could offer 37Nm of peak torque.
Besides the mechanical changes, the new Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z will also get a quickshifter for clutchless upshifts and downshifts. Previous leaks have suggested that the motorcycle will come equipped with sintered brake pads and wider tyres. It will ride on 110/70-R17 front and 150/60-R17 rear Apollo Alpha H1 tyres. These changes should improve the overall riding experience of the motorcycle.
