We researched the latest taxi cameras on the market and we posted our thoughts here:   / 1497936793642284   The Dome GS65H is still our budget choices but there many different options at the $200 level. We hope to release a new review in a few months once Viofo releases their infrared light equipped camera

Our upgrade pick and our top budget recommendation. It has added functionality, protection and it’s history of reliability. Specifically it has better video quality especially in the passenger area, 2-year warranty, good customer support, and WiFi.

IR LIGHT PROJECTOR

940nm IR Light:
We now recommend the invisible IR light as passengers can't see a red glow and it works with both cameras. It's slightly larger than the 48IR light we showed in the video.

5.5 x 2.1mm Coaxial Car Adapter
Allows you to plug the IR light into your car's electrical supply. We got a 8ft version. Easiest to find at your local electronics supply store.

3M VHB Tape
You need a small strip of 3M VHB Tape to stick the IR light to your windshield. VHB tape can be removed cleanly from your windshield.
