Desperate Housewives - For Blue Skies

My favorite show and one of my all time favorite songs. This could only mean one thing: I'm SO NOT happy. But at least no one watching this can get inside the mess that is my head and see the 284283748 things I could have made differently xD

(I haven't re-watched that in order not to get my thoughts even more messed up during the vidding process.)

And then when DH ended I wanted to do a proper tribute just for the show to this song which to me about someone whose friend/girlfriend has committed suicide and as I love making Mary Alice centered DH videos that is just the perfect starting point for me. So now I've finally got round to it. It's harder to vid DH these days as it's not so fresh on my mind but I miss it so here we go.

I love this song because it's just so therapeutic (and meaningful for me), so much about letting go of sadness, anger, whatever for the sake of blue skies, just finding peace. It's such a lovely idea and here I was trying to show how the main characters are forgiven for their flaws. That is the theme I was trying to keep up for the full 6 minutes, quite a challenge...

Susan: "You have been the most consistent male relationship in my life and I just always thought you'd be around."

Mary Alice: "I've wanted to have everyone over for years."

Lynette: "This is a residential neighborhood!"

Bree: "Are you happy now?"

Mary Alice: "I'm not unhappy."

Mike: "Thanks...for being so understanding."

Susan: "Thank you."

Bree: "I was in a dark place, lovely, and in pain. I started drinking."

Julie: "That is why I don't want to have this baby on my own. Because I've already raised a child. You."

Susan: "I wish there was some pill you could take to protect your heart."

Bree: "Why? You know all the ugliest details of my life, my lying, my drinking, my promiscuity. I don't trust you because it just doesn't make sense."

Trip: "That clear enough for you?"

Lynette: "And the reason that nothing works is because that hole in your heart you're trying to fill, is already filled. You just forgot."

Susan: "She was a mother just like me, with a child just like ours, and if it wasn't for us they'd still be alive!"

Chuck: "You smiled."

Gaby: "It's like my heart is living outside my body. I have to find her."

Mary Alice: "I'm so sorry girls. I never wanted you to be burdened with this. We all have moments of desperation but if we can face them head on that's when we find out just how strong we really are."
