Have you ever seen the Great Wall of China completely buried in a white blanket? In today's adventure, we traveled to the Huanghuacheng Water Great Wall district near Beijing during a rare snowfall. We weren't just visiting; we were the very first explorers to step onto the battlements, leaving the first footprints on a path that felt more like the Arctic than an ancient monument.
You're invited to join us on a rare journey along the dragon's back covered in thick, puffy snow—a sight very few people ever get to witness in person. The silence was incredible as we hiked through the deep powder, capturing the ultimate winter wonderland.
To warm up, we took a break for a Great Wall picnic unlike any other. Heating up some delicious Haidilao instant hotpot right in the middle of a snowdrift - there’s nothing quite like steaming spicy broth while surrounded by frozen history.
