Here are a few scenes from my new TRS 19 route, the Santa Fe's Marceline Sub, which runs 210 miles from Kansas City Union Station [Circa 1950's] to Fort Madison, IA.
This subdivision is all double track with only one segment of single track, over the Sibley Railroad Bridge crossing the Missouri River at West Sibley.
Currently, Amtrak's Southwest Chief makes stops along the Marceline Subdivision in Ft. Madison, IA and La Plata, MO.
As of 2019, the station at La Plata hosts three Virtual Rail Fan cameras which monitor traffic on the line 24/7.
