In this video we learn how to build a new battery pack using tabbed cells. The use of tabs cells makes for an easier DIY project that does not require the use of a fancy spot welder or the problems associated with trying to solder directly to the cells.

Join in as we build a 4-cell NiMh pack to replace the NiCad pack in an old Epson HX-20. The battery compartment in the HX-20 is notoriously a tight squeeze but with a little planning we manage to squeeze our new pack in there.
