Ark Survival Ascended – The Island (EP149) – Rare Mushroom Solution, Taming First Therizino

In Ark Survival Ascended – The Island (EP149), the hunt for rare mushrooms turns into an unexpected adventure. Using a pick or hatchet on crystal barely yields any mushrooms, so I need a better solution. That search leads to a wild Level 28 Therizinosaurus, the perfect creature for harvesting mushrooms, and my first Therizino tame! 🦖🌿

I knock it out with tranq arrows and start taming and I quickly realize I don’t have enough narcoberries to keep it sedated. With torpor dropping fast, I rush back to base to grab over 250+ narcoberries from my crop plot and some pre-crafted Exceptional Kibble.

When I return, the Theri is fully awake and furious, so during the process of trying to knock it out again, it attacks me and but it hits hard, damaging almost all of my armor. This time I was able to completely tranq it even with the damage that I incurred, and with proper kibble and sedation the tame succeeds, giving me a strong new harvester with +13 bonus levels & starting base of Level 41.

Once saddled, the Therizino heads into the swamp and efficiently gathers all the rare mushrooms needed for crafting Lesser Antidote. But back at base, chaos strikes—an Alpha Raptor attacks my passive rexes! The freshly tamed Therizino charges in and wipes out the threat, proving its worth immediately. 🔥🦖🔥

With the rare mushrooms safely in the chemistry bench, I craft the Lesser Antidote needed for the upcoming Swamp Cave adventure. Rare mushroom problem: solved, thanks to my first Therizino tame, despite the armor damage and chaos along the way!
