Shimano Calcutta Conquest 201 Unboxing & Field Test | Trying a Baitcaster for the First Time

🎣 Hi guys, and welcome back to another video!
Today I’m doing something completely new - I’m trying a baitcaster for the very first time , and I’m unboxing a reel I’ve dreamed of owning: the Shimano Calcutta Conquest 201 .

This baitcaster has been on my desk for weeks, and now I couldn’t wait any longer. In this video, I’ll unbox it, compare it to the reel I usually use, go through the standout differences, and then take it outside for my first ever casting test with a baitcaster.

As a complete beginner with baitcasters, I was nervous to see whether I’d instantly backlash the new line… and yes, we had some funny situations, including my first bird nest , adjusting the settings, and even losing one of my handmade fishing lures in the process. But that’s part of the learning journey!
