2 years ago, I met Lashunda. She was living in a motel with 3 children that she was taking care of. Her older daughter, with whom she was living, had taken all their money and fled the state. That left Lashunda living in Van with her 2 younger daughters and her grandson.

Immediately, I started a fundraiser to help her and her family get into a permanent home. This is the story of how we worked together to get her into a house, and now we must do what we can to prevent her from losing everything again.
