Phở Gà- Vietnamese chicken noodles soup.
Ingredients :
For broth preparation.
1 whole chicken
8 quarts of water
1 big thump of ginger
1 white onion
1 big shallot
4-5 anise stars
For broth seasoning
1 cup fish sauce
1/2 cup chopped shallots
1 tbsp black pepper
1/3 - 1/2 tsp salt ( can adjust more or less for your taste)
2 tsp mushroom seasoning ( if have )
Shallots oil for extra flavor
2/3 cup oil
2-3 tbsp chopped shallots
Vegetables on the side :
bean sprouts
Basil
Lime
Sliced white onion
Chopped Cilantro
Chopped green onions
Sliced Jalapeño
Hoisin sauce ( if have )
Chili sauce ( if have )
