This sculpture of an old man’s face—with flowing hair and a long beard—was carved using a Dremel 3000 rotary tool. I used Persian Ironwood (Parrotia persica) for the face, known for its exceptional density and rich natural grain, and jujube wood for the teeth, adding a warm, earthy contrast.
This timelapse captures the full journey from raw wood to a detailed, expressive work of art. Alongside the sculpture, I also craft handmade wooden combs, each one unique and shaped with care.
Why choose wooden combs?
✔ Gentle on hair and scalp
✔ Reduces breakage and split ends
✔ Distributes natural oils evenly
✔ Helps reduce static electricity
✔ Promotes healthier hair growth
✔ Eco-friendly and biodegradable
✔ Naturally hypoallergenic
